Founded in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, R&B Kitchen is a Caribbean and soul-food inspired takeout and catering company dedicated to serving fresh, flavorful meals while creating opportunity within our community. What began as a small family-run kitchen has grown into one of Nova Scotia’s most loved local food brands.

For over five years, we have been proud to serve thousands of meals to families, businesses, schools, and organizations across the province. Our menu blends Caribbean flavors with comfort-food classics, delivering dishes that feel both exciting and familiar.

But R&B Kitchen is about more than great food.

Our mission has always been rooted in community impact. As a Black-owned business, we are committed to creating jobs, mentorship opportunities, and pathways into the food industry for members of underrepresented communities. Every meal served supports that vision.

Today, R&B Kitchen prepares meals for major catering clients, community events, and schools across Nova Scotia, including providing nutritious lunches to students through the Provincial School Lunch Program. We focus on kid-friendly meals that are affordable, nutritious, and prepared in a clean and safe environment.

Our kitchen is powered by a passionate team that believes good food brings people together. Whether we’re serving a family dinner, fueling students for their school day, or catering an event, we approach every plate with pride.

Over the years, R&B Kitchen has been recognized as one of Nova Scotia’s favorite Caribbean restaurants and has been featured on major media outlets including CBC and CTV.
